We recently completed vehicle restraint system (VRS) upgrade works on the A93 near Glenshee for Tayside Contracts. The existing barrier sections were outdated and no longer met current standards, so they were replaced with new VRS, terminals and associated motorcyclist protection beneath the barrier. Our works included the provision of two-way traffic management, the safe removal and disposal of the old barrier system, and the installation of the new roadside safety barrier. The project was completed on time and without issue, and the client was delighted with the finished result. This marks the second consecutive year we have delivered similar works for Tayside Contracts, following further VRS upgrades on the A93 further south in 2025.
